How we price our services
Because different people need different things from their websites, we offer a range of packages to cover all possible requirements.
The following features are standard – you’ll get them whichever of our packages you choose:
- A custom-written front page – we’ll interview you to find out more about what you do, then write some snappy, compelling copy to grab your visitors’ attention
- A basic copy check on any written content you supply – grammar, spelling, punctuation and suchlike
- Full training – we want you to be confident that you can work with your new website, so we’ll show you all you need to know
- Tracking and monitoring tools – Google provides a free analytics service and tools for webmasters, which we’ll set up for you
Entry-level (one star) – £495

A simple website based on your choice from several pre-designed templates, customised to match your company details. Can be updated – but not the best choice if you know you’ll want to make regular changes. This package gets you online quickly and easily if that’s all you need. Full details will be included in our soon-to-be-launched ‘On a budget’ section, but in the meantime please contact us about it directly.
Two stars – £995

- A simple content management system so you can update the site in future – and a user guide covering all the tasks you most commonly do
- A unique custom design – we can either incorporate and complement your existing branding or start from scratch and produce something completely new according to guidelines you set down for us
- Up to five pages of content written for you, or migrated from an existing site or brochure – plus the training you need to be able to add as many pages as you like
- Basic stock photography for all pages that need it
Three stars – £1,995

- WordPress content management system, enhanced with some useful extras, so that your site can be easily updated, expanded and found in search engines
- A unique custom design – we can either incorporate and complement your existing branding or start from scratch and produce something completely new according to guidelines you set down for us
- A user guide covering all the tasks you most commonly carry out, such as updating the site
- Your choice of whether to have a blog or news area integrated into the site or disabled
- We will assist you in creating or migrating up to ten pages of content – and provide training so you can easily add as many as you like yourself
- A contact or feedback form so your customers – or would-be customers – can easily get in touch
- Up to 10 images from a premium stock photography supplier
- Basic photo- or image-manipulation where necessary for the design
- An embedded Google map showing the location of your business – or any other relevant location you choose
Four stars – £3,995

- WordPress content management system, enhanced and customised with many extra add-ons, giving you a feature-rich and highly optimised site that can be easily updated, expanded and found in search engines
- A unique custom design – we can either incorporate and complement your existing branding or start from scratch and produce something completely new according to guidelines you set down for us
- A user guide covering all the tasks you most commonly carry out, such as updating the site
- Your choice of whether to have a blog or news area integrated into the site or disabled
- We will assist you in creating or migrating up to 25 pages of content – and provide training so you can easily add as many as you like yourself
- A contact or feedback form so your customers – or would-be customers – can easily get in touch
- All necessary stock photography and image work
- An embedded Google map showing the location of your business – or any other relevant location you choose
- A shopping cart, integrated into your site and manageable from your main website control area
- Integration with email newsletter mailing services such as Sendblaster or AWeber
- An advanced image gallery to showcase photos or product pictures (note: a basic gallery is standard with WordPress)
Custom work (five stars and upwards)

Any project requiring, for example, more than 25 pages of content to be written or migrated, more than three weeks to complete or customisations that are not covered in the list above. These require an individual quote.
The small print
- These prices are based on clients having a web server that runs Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP – the most common type. Should this not be the case extra costs may be incurred hiring the necessary expertise to complete the site installation.
- The prices do not include web hosting and domain registration as most of our clients have these services in place. Should you need help organising them, we will be glad to assist, however.
- The price depends on us being able to include a discreet credit in the footer of the site identifying it as our work and linking back to our site. Should this not be acceptable, we charge an additional 10 per cent premium.
- It is the clients’ responsibility to make any necessary changes to their software or computer set-up to allow them to operate the completed site – although we will be happy to offer advice and make suggestions where we can. And it is important to note that the content management systems we use operate in any web browser with no specialist software required.
- It is the clients’ responsibility to ensure that copyright permission has been obtained for the use of any text, photographs or images that they supply.
- We will agree the scope and timetable of your project in a transparent fashion before work commences – but reserve the right to renegotiate the terms and conditions if the project scope changes and expands.
